More Thing Lucent Jelly Ring For IPhone 5: First Glance And Gallery

More Thing’s Color Gem Lucent Jelly Ring (I know, it’s a mouthful) for iPhone 5 is the latest in a long line of bumper-style offerings on the market. Rather oddly, it’s made of a hard translucent plastic and available in a variety of colors.

It has rounded edges, and cutouts to leave the bottom edge exposed as well as the volume/mute switches, camera and lock key. It comes packaged with a home key button, which aren’t my cup of tea, and a screen protector.

At $19.90, you’d say it was inexpensive, but it does feel quite cheap, and doesn’t fit as tightly as I’d have hoped. I can’t imagine that it offers fantastic protection either. On first looks, I’d say it was almost entirely decorative. Available now at more-thing.com.
