BGR received some interesting information today from an apparently reliable source. iOS 6.0.1 is being tested with many different US carrier partners.
According to the informant, the update will fix the frustrating horizontal line glitches that appear when the keyboard pops up or when you open a Folder. It will also purportedly fix a camera flash bug. Other bug fixes include Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity problems, Passbook security worries, and Exchange meetings bug.
Along with the 6.0.1 intel, editor Jonathan Geller also heard that Apple has only just started testing iOS 6.1 in house, which means we’re not likely to see it until after the Holiday Season is over, perhaps looking at a new year update, which fits in well with last year’s 5.0 to 5.1 update timeframe.
