Now that everything is set and done at Apple’s media event and San Francisco, Apple’s main website is up and we got a peek at all the new small things Apple will be selling as accessories for the iPhone 5. One of these things being a Lightning to micro-USB adapter for Europeans.
Why Europe and not America? Possibly down to the regulation that restricts manufacturers from releasing phones without the capability to charge/sync without micro USB, which was made the standard everyone has to adhere to.
Apple found a loophole, and released a proprietary connector with the option to adapt. Perfect for those shedloads of people who are apparently about to abort ships BlackBerry and Android.
The little accessory costs £15 in the UK and is available in the Apple online store now.
