Thanks to a report from The Verge, we now know that Apple is planning on supporting video out from its new Lightning connector. The capabilities of the new, smaller connector were thrown in to doubt when it was realized that the 30-pin to Lightning adapter wouldn’t support video.
Cupertino has designed and is planning to release an adapter to connect your iPhone 5 to an HDMI or VGA output. There’s no pricing or timing information except that it “will be available in the coming months.”
