4″ IPhone 5 Display Demo Created, Shows How It’d Look When Used [Video]

Certainly the biggest change to the design of the rumored iPhone 5 is the taller, 4-inch display, that would allow true 16:9 widescreen. It’s even been proven (somewhat) in the fact that iOS 6 supports this larger display.

As you can see from the video (created by MacRumors), the larger screen would allow for bigger folder sizes, and videos can be viewed in 16:9 widescreen. Apps and games would need to be modified, or – much like using an iPhone supported app on an iPad – apps would need to be ‘letterboxed’, meaning that the whole screen isn’t being used.

Don’t forget, however, that this video isn’t solid proof of a taller display, and the actions shown may not make it into Apple’s next device, but even so, this has definitely got me more excited for the next iPhone.

How do you feel about a larger display on the next iPhone? Leave your answers in the comments below.
