Rumor Apple Genius Bar trading MacBooks for iPads

The Genius Bar has always been the number one place to stop by if you have any technical difficulties with your iPhone or other Apple product. However, room is always limited and spaces arenot always available when you needed an appointment.

Well, according to 9to5Mac, Apple Store Genius Bars might change out their MacBook Pros for iPads, allowing for more Specialists to assist you.

Due to the size of MacBook Pros, Apple has been limited to fitting only a few the computers at Genius Bars. Typically, the Genius Bar can only service as many people as computers at one time at the Genius Bar.

Now, due to the size and price of iPads, Apple could service more people at one time at the Genius Bar by installing multiple iPads. Apple fairly recently instated a system called MobileGenius which runs the iOS Diagnostic service. This service only works with iOS devices, while the new iPads should cover Macs and Apple’s other non-iOS products, too.

With more iPads, and therefore more specialists, Apple can now help more people and get you in, out and back to your iDevice faster. Keep in mind that while iPads cannot do everything that MacBooks can, they are better at certain things.

If this turns out to be true, like the implementation of iPads as signs, Apple is once again making good use of their products in order to serve you better.

What are your experiences with the Apple Store Genius Bar? Do you think iPads will make everything easier or are they just not the same as full computer? Let me know below
