Just a quick blurb to let you know, the Apple online store is down. I tried US, UK, Canada, Germany and Japan stores and got the same message stating it was unavailable. Others have reported seeing the “we’ll be back soon” sticky note. I, however, only see an error message in Safari stating that the server is not responding. Try it and let us know what happens.
We’re unsure what this could mean. Some rumor we could see an Apple TV refresh. The next generation media streaming “puck” could include a faster processor, 1080p output, and maybe even the ability to play games. On the other hand, it could just mean a visual redesign of the online store interface. I guess we’ll find out at some point today.
