64GB IPhone 4 Prototype Leaked On Video
About a year ago, many of you tech lovers will remember seeing a huge debacle unfold when Gizmodo bought an iPhone 4 prototype found at a bar. If you don’t, then you missed a great tale of back alley deals, high profile suing, and an embarrassed Apple employee.
That’s beside the point though. This time round a 64GB iPhone 4 has been leaked by M.I.C. Gadget. The serial number on the back points to the fact that it was probably manufactured in early 2010, around the same time as Gizmo’s prototype.
The one thing that marks this as unique is the “available 58.8GB” in the “about” menu. Now, obviously we know a 64GB iPhone 4 was never released, but, it does mean that Apple has been testing it out.
Could this mean that a higher capacity iPhone 5 will be launched in June? Possibly. There are rumors circling that the iPhone range will come in three sizes, matching those of the iPad – 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. I guess we won’t find out for sure until June, but I’d be impressed if a 64GB model was launched.
