Verizon iPhone cases leaked, Big Red buys up iPhone domainsSomewhere inside Cupertino, CA, you know that Apple’s got to be pretty unhappy with the latest spate of leaked iOS accessories. Well, here’s another to add to the list: A PhoneArena reader spotted sales listings for Verizon iPhone 4 cases on Offwire.com.

It posted some Case-Mate brand products for the as-yet unreleased device. The same site also offers iPhone 4 cases with the AT&T moniker, so it’s likely not some wacky error or mislabel, but a separate product category. Offwire has since pulled the items, but thanks to the magic of the internet, you can see what the listings looked like:

Case-Mate has already created its own website for Verizon iPhone cases, which has been redirected now to a more general iPhone 4 webpage. According to Google’s cached copy, the site read as follows:

The Wait is over: iPhone 4 for Verizon is Coming

The waiting game is finally over. After three long years and countless numbers of rumors, the iPhone 4 will soon be available on the Verizon network. The subscribers of the United States’ largest carrier can all breathe a sigh of relief. And start making plans to camp out at their local Apple store.

Very compelling stuff, but what might be the most intriguing factoid to emerge lately is that Verizon has been buying up Verizon iPhone–related domain names, like “iphoneonverizon.com” and “iphoneforverizon.com” (purchased December 9, 2010).
