We’ve seen countless leaks over the past weeks of alleged photos of the new iPhone Apple is set to announce next month. While some have been debunked, some remain as a good look of what to expect come September 9th.
Today’s leak comes straight from Sonny Dickson, who has a very reliable reputation when it comes to part leaks. He posted photos on his Twitter, claiming that they are of the back plate of the new iPhone.
The photos don’t show much we haven’t already seen, but it does seem to confirm that the new iPhone will in fact have a raised camera bezel to squeeze whatever shooter Apple decides to use into the scarily thin chassis of the new device. Also present in the photos are the plastic radio bands running throughout the top and bottom of the device. In the photos pictured, it’s clear that the chassis has taken a beating, as a majority of the plastic bands are either broken or missing.
Although there is always the possibly the parts are fake, Dickson has a strong track record when it comes to leaks, and he isn’t the first to report that the iPhone 6 will have a raised camera lens, so it’s safe to say you can take these photos with more than just a grain of salt.
