Luxury iPhone modifier Feld & Volk posted photos via MacRumors today of parts allegedly from the new iPhone 6. The photos, which are high resolution macro shots, seemingly confirm the tapered edge display rumored to make a debut on the next iPhone. These photos aren’t the first time we’ve seen the expected iPhone 6 panel, but they are the first time we’ve seen such close-up, high resolution shots that explicitly detail the tapered edge.
Also included in the leak are photos of the new power button and mute toggle switch. In the past, rumors have pointed to Apple moving the power button from the top of the iPhone to the right side, making it easier for people to wake/sleep the device with their thumb.
These aren’t the only iPhone 6 part leaks we’ve seen, and judging by the leaks we’ve seen just over the past week, they certainly won’t be the last. But with only a month left until the device is officially unveiled by Apple, time will tell what’s turned into fruition, and what is simply a rumor.
