Apple today posted two new TV adverts featuring Chinese DJ Yaoband, and Detroit-based cycling program Slow Roll. The campaign, which Apple is dubbing ‘Your Verse’, features people using the iPad Air as their main workstation device.
In the case of Yaoband, DJs Luke Wang and Peter Feng use their iPads to record sounds from their daily lives and mix songs with them to preform on stage. On the other hand, Jason Hall, co-founder of the Detroit cycling program Slow Roll, uses his iPad to coordinate events around the city with his fellow cyclists, and design graphic images to be printed on apparel.
Apple is airing two one-minute long commercials for each profile on TV, and uploaded longer, more formal, documentary style videos on their website. A couple of tasters have been uploaded to YouTube, which you can see below:
It’s unclear if Apple is going to expand the ‘Your Verse’ campaign with more guest profiles in the future, or the two subjects currently featured are the only ones Apple has in mind. Either way, you can view the full videos and read more into the two profiles featured right on Apple’s website.
