Apple offering $25 iTunes gift card when purchasing Apple TV in iTunes Festival promotion

Apple TV Promo

Apple is once again promoting iTunes Festival by launching a bundle deal when purchasing an Apple TV. The bundle deal offers a $25 iTunes gift card with each Apple TV purchase you make. The gift card can of course be used to purchase apps, music, movies, TV shows, etc. available in the iTunes Store.  The promotion is valid through September 30. So if you want to take advantage of this deal, you may want to jump on it quickly.

Apple offered a similar $25 gift card promotion earlier in the year and there was much speculation about the launch of an updated Apple TV. As many of you may have guessed, these rumors turned out to be false as Apple is still selling the third-generation model that saw its last major update in 2012.

Be sure to keep in mind that this latest iTunes Festival promotion offers a $25 iTunes gift card; however, the Apple TV still retails for $99, so there is not an additional discount in the price point of the Apple TV.

Recent rumors suggest the next major update to the Apple TV will be in 2015. These rumors have speculated that the next-generation Apple TV may include an App Store, support for wireless game controllers, Siri integration, etc.
