It seems as if Apple is working on a whole new marketing scheme. You may remember a couple days ago, we posted that Apple’s latest ad commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Macintosh computer had been filmed using only the iPhone as the video source. Well, Apple is continuing the trend of showing us just what the iPhone’s camera is capable of filming, and has once again released a video showing that the iPhone is capable of being a powerful camera.
With this latest marketing scheme, Apple is showing consumers that not only is the iPhone capable of being a powerful smartphone, but also that in fact it is a powerful camera device. Apple worked with Burberry for the fashion show, and the iPhone 5s was the only device that captured runway and backstage footage for the event.
Although I don’t use my iPhone’s video camera often, I have to admit that these latest ads have been very powerful in showing just what the iPhone’s camera is capable of producing, and showing users that even a phone’s video camera can produce video quality that rivals that of a stand-alone video camera.
Do you believe these ads are effective in showing that the iPhone’s camera is impressive? Drop your thoughts below, or tweet me at @TiP_Griffin.
