When it comes to Apple’s rumored iWatch, the worst part about it is the fact that we don’t even know if it exists. The good news, however, is that we’ve seen just about every design concept imaginable by now, so Apple’s design (if the device is ever launched) likely won’t be a huge shock. However, today, a new concept by artist Todd Hamilton has surfaced that gives a familiar look to the iWatch, and surprisingly, it doesn’t look like a watch at all. Instead, the designer opted to give the iWatch the styling of a Nike FuelBand, and increase the functionality of the device.
The device features a curved touch screen on the front that is large enough for four iOS 7 icons to fit on the screen vertically. The concept also shows images of the lock screen, Siri, and what apps would look like running on the device. I personally think this is one of the coolest iWatch designes to date. While I do love the idea of having an iWatch that looks like a watch, this particular concept is all around a great design. I love the curved touch screen, and I think iOS 7 looks pretty darn nice on it as well. Plus, if Apple includes functionality such as fitness trakcing, Siri, and notification push, as is rumored, the watch would likely be a big hit.
Be sure to check out the video above to get a feel for thsi concept, and check out a few more images at the source link below. If Apple unveiled this product as the iWatch, would you be first in line to buy it, or would you skip the iWatch? Let us know in the comments section, or tweet at me at @TiP_Griffin.
