Pinterest for iPad has gotten a new look with the latest update which brings the version up to 3.3. The iPhone version hasn’t had much of a change, with Pinterest instead choosing to focus on the iPad this go around in order to keep it fresh and new. Check out the full change log below:
What’s New in Version 3.3
The iPad app has a fresh new look — just in time for the holidays! Also, you can send your favourite boards to your friends for gift giving inspiration.
Also new, you can send your boards to friends. Pinterest, for those that don’t use it or haven’t heard of it, is a popular social network of sorts that allows you to “pin” different items of interest (understand the name now?) to different virtual boards. For instance, you could pin all your favorite holiday crafts into one section for easy reference later on.
The social sharing site is mostly full of things like arts and crafts or recipes for different deserts and dinners. If you want to find something holiday themed to make, Pinterest is a great place to look. From Santa cupcakes, to mistletoe ornaments, I’m sure something you’d like is on there. The applications are fairly well made, and have been getting general improvements here and there as needed (including iOS 7 support). If you are interested in trying it out, you can head over here to get the app for free: Pinterest.
What do you think? Have you tried out the new iPad look? If so, do you like it? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
