Earlier today, Apple stores from across the globe started their customary Black Friday sales. Unlike previous years, it looked like the company was only going to be offering gift cards with purchases instead of offering a discount. Oddly, the UK Apple stores aren’t. Thankfully, here in Blighty, Apple has chosen to go with the traditional “money-off” promotion.
Here’s a run down on some of the key offers.
16GB Wi-Fi/16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular – £368/£468 – £31 off
32GB Wi-Fi/32GB Wi-Fi + Cellular – £438/£538 - £41 off
64GB Wi-Fi/64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular – £508/£608 - £51 off
128GB Wi-Fi/128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular – £578/£678 - £61 off
So you can now get one of Apple’s brand spanking new iPad Airs from £368.
iPad mini (first generation)
16GB Wi-Fi – £234 – £15 off
16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular – £334 – £15 off
16GB Wi-Fi – £304 – £25 off
16GB Wi-Fi + Cellular – £404 – £25 off
Apple is also offering discounts on the MacBook range. You’ll get £81 off a MacBook Air, right across the board. So they’ll cost you between £768 and £1048. This £81 discount applies to all the MacBook Pro models too. If you’re after the pro laptop you can grab the lowest spec model for £918, with the top of the line, 15-inch monster costing £2,118.
iPod touch is subject to £25 discount, and the iPod nano has £11 off. As well as that, there are a whole bunch of accessories available for a lower price. Even Apple TV has been dropped from £99 to £84 for the day. Other accessories including the Apogee JAM guitar input for £98 (down from £120), the Parrot A.R. Drone 2.0 Power Edition at £284 (down from £320) and the Jawbone UP at £84 instead of £99.95. GoPro, Wahoo, Beats and many others are included.
If you’re in the UK, head on over to the UK online store and let us know what you plan on picking up. Personally, I’m delighted we don’t have the gift card offer here. I much prefer getting stuff for cheaper.
