Best Buy and Sprint have teamed up to bring students an amazing smartphone promotion.
The deal begins today, and will run until January 4. Eligible students who buy a Sprint phone from a Best Buy store, at the student-activated price, will receive twelve months of free service including unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data, if they sign up for a Sprint Unlimited or My Way plan.
iPhones eligible in the deal, the 4s, the 5c and the 5s will all set you back an extra $50 at student-activated prices, so you’ll be paying $699 for the 16GB iPhone 5s, as opposed to Apple’s standard $649. However, the service being offered for free is worth $70 a month, so you’ll have made up this deficit within the first month of your contract. If you’re after a gift device, or a second handset, you can add another line for just $10 more.
Sprint’s activation fee of $36, taxes and surcharges apply. If you’d like to know more about this great deal, you can check it out at BestBuy.com now!
