Martin Hajek is well known for creating digital renders and concepts of upcoming Apple devices. The reason behind his name becoming so well known to us techies is that – unlike dozens of other digital artists – his work is finished to a high standard, and often includes realistic elements like fingerprint smudges on the glass, and the devices being placed in real settings.
The latest render is no different, and shows off how the iPad 5 will probably look in an official Apple retail store. He posted on his blog a short while ago, along with a sneaky dig at the serial leakster, Sonny Dickson:
Like many other leaks and rumors the iPad 5 render shows an iPad mini-like design and has a Touch ID sensor built in to the front.
It’s expected that Apple will unveil its next generation of iPads at an event on October 22nd at the Yerba Buena center in San Francisco. It’s not yet been confirmed, but, sources close to AllThingsD and The Loop stated that was their belief. And, a tweet from Mark Gurman late last week confirmed there was an empty space in the Yerba Buena’s schedule on that date.
If it holds out to be true, we can expect invites to be sent out some time this week.
