PhoneDog’s network site program is currently allowing for open-ended positions, meaning you can stay on as long as you like. Once proven as a voluntary intern, there’s every possibility that we can create a paid job for you in the future. We’re all about hiring from the inside and we want you to become a solid member of the TiP team.
We’re looking specifically for three positions to be filled.
1. News writer – Someone who is available for a couple of hours each day between 9am-12pm Eastern/2pm-5pm GMT to write news articles.
2. Tips/Tutorials vlogger – This would require you to produce 3-4 good quality videos each week showing off various aspects of iOS. Ranging from getting the basics nailed down to the harder to find parts of the iPhone’s operating system. For this position you must be very knowledgeable about iOS.
3. Resident jailbreak guru – We now have a space available for a resident jailbreak guy. You’ll be the go-to guy that writes posts (and perhaps makes videos) showing off cool tweaks, themes and tutorials all to do with jailbreaking.
If you are interested in joining our team, email us at Contributors@TodaysiPhone.com with a cover letter and some examples of work applicable to the position you’re applying for. For instance, if you want to write news for us, find two pieces of recent news and write them in your own style and add your own flair and opinions to the piece (300 words each minimum).
If you want to apply for the tutorial vlogging position, film a tutorial (ideally around the 3-4 minute mark). Be sure to be entertaining, but professional in your style without missing any important details or steps.
If you want to join as our resident jailbreak guru forward us a couple of articles centered around that subject.
