Alongside Apple’s unveiling of the newly redesigned iPad Air, the company also previewed new Smart Covers and Smart Cases for the device.
The Smart Covers, made of polyurethane, is available in black, pink, blue, yellow, green and special edition (PRODUCT) Red. They are similar in design to the Smart Covers available for previous generation iPads but shaped to fit the iPad Air’s new slim profile.
The metal magnetic strip has also been replace with a polyurethane covered alternative (something that has been taking from the iPad mini version of the cover).
You can get your hands on one for $39. The covers are showing in the Apple online store already, but are currently unavailable to order.
Apple’s Smart Cases have also been redesigned to account for the new shape of the iPad Air. Smart Cases are made from leather and come in brown, beige, black, yellow, blue and (PRODUCT) Red costing $79 each.
Again, these are currently showing in the online store, but are unavailable to order at this moment in time.
