New iPhone shipments already arriving in US in anticipation of launch

The iPhone 5S and 5C launch is getting closer and closer. The announcement is coming in just one week from today, and the excitement is growing here at Today’s iPhone and for all Apple lovers. In anticipation of the launch shortly after the announcement, it appears as if shipments of the new iPhones are already beginning to appear in the United States today.

MacRumors is reporting that Apple has begun to receive shipments form overseas of the new devices, and it is stockpiling the new iPhones for distribution purposes. It makes sense that the Cupertino company would be keeping the devices in warehouses ahead of the launch to ensure that keeping the devices in stock for launch won’t be a major issue. It is rumored that over 1 million iPhone 5C units have been shipped to America already in anticipation of the rumored September 20th launch of the new hardware. Hopefully this will mean that getting one on launch day won’t be an issue, but (as always) it still could be a problem for some.

Are you planning on getting an iPhone 5S or 5C when it’s launched? Do you think Apple could surprise us next week during its announcement? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
