If you are looking into getting an iPad 4th generation in its largest configuration (128GB) you can currently do so through Apple’s official refurbished store for a [relatively] low price of $679. This is a $140 saving over buying one brand new one from Apple, and you can have it shipped in 5-7 days. Currently the white and black are both available, but that is subject to change with supply. This is the cheapest that this particular device has been since its launch. You may want to keep in mind, however, that Apple is expected to be launching a new iPad soon, so if you can hold off, it is highly recommended you do so as you should be able to get these devices even cheaper post-new iPad release. The newer iPad 5 is expected to be launched sometime during an event in this coming month of October. Seeing as tomorrow is the first of the month, it should be on the horizon. Rumors regarding the iPad 5 haven’t seen as much press as the iPad mini 2, which has been said to get a Retina display then said not to almost on a daily basis at this point. It is also unknown if any iPads will be seeing Touch ID or not, but personally I’m hoping the iPad 5 does as I am very seriously considering upgrading my iPad 3 to one.
What do you think? Are you going to get in on this? Or wait for iPad 5? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
