Star Wars: Force Collection coming September 4th to iOS

Official LogoStar Wars fanatics, geeks, and diehards: take note, Star Wars: Force Collection will be coming to iOS on the 4th of September. The app will consist of a digital card battle type game that will include 230 cards for all the different characters that have appeared over the 6 Star Wars films. According to Konami, developers of the game, players will travel across all the Star Wars galaxies, completing various missions:

Players will cross the Star Wars™ galaxy completing quests, fighting battles, and collecting powerful cards and upgrades. As players progress, their actions will determine whether they join and fight on the light or dark side of the Force during global player events.

There’s a single player aspect where users will play against the computer, and also a multiplayer setting where users can play against other players. Defeating players, as you’d expect, will up your ranking and allow you to earning different pieces to give you a better chance of winning the further in the game you get.  The game will be free, so I would expect some in app purchases to be included. I’m not a very big gamer, but I’m definitely a Star Wars fan, and will be putting this on my calendar to check it out.

What do you think? Looking forward to it? Will you be downloading it? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.

Looks cool, and I am a huge star wars fan, but I bet it will be a freemium game, which is always disappointing.
