NFL iOS app ready for 2013-14 season with new update, Verizon customers get streaming

NFLNFL fans will know the tune, “ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!” Well, apparently the NFL is, as the NFL Mobile app has just been updated in preparation for the 2013-2014 season that is set to kick off Thursday, September 5th. This app has been completely redone for the new season, and if you are a Verizon iPhone owner, you have an added treat. Instead of being two separate apps, the Verizon NFL streaming service has been built in to this new version of NFL Mobile, and the feature is only available to those on Big Red. As the description reads, jailbroken devices are not supported, so you may want to think twice before installing it. Here is the iTunes change log:

VIDEO ON DEMAND – Expanded video content and game highlights let you see more of the action.

SCORES AND STATS – Updated player and team scores and statistics for the 2013-14 season.
