The Apple iWatch has been rumored a lot, but it’s been quite some time since we’ve seen a concept of what the device could look like. Fortunately, Federico Ciccarese from Ciccarese Design has decided to show off his brand new iWatch concept and I must say that if this is Apple’s plan, I’ll be first in line to buy this on launch day at my local Apple Store.
The new design shows a sleek colored and curved body with a curved touchscreen. Even more unique to this concept is that it is running iOS 7. Many previous design concepts for the iWatch have shown a watered down version of iOS for the watch, because most use a much smaller screen. However, this concept shows a large touchscreen, as well as a full version of iOS 7. The band for this particular concept is based off of an Apple patent, and would work similarly to the old “snap bracelet” idea meaning that you would slap the band on your wrist, and it would wrap around your arm. The concept also shows the band being available in white, grey, green, red, and blue colors.
Although I’m not a huge fan of the design of the band (sure, it looks cool, but I’m not a believe in the snap bracelet idea), this concept is one of the best looking iWatch concepts to date. The device looks futuristic, sleek, and I love the idea of an iWatch running a full version of iOS. What do you think of this new concept? Would you buy an iWatch if this was Apple’s final design? Sound off in the comments section below and let us know what you think of this new idea.
