Mailbox has been updated with some nice new features which include Chrome link opening, cloud search, and a few others. The update brings Mailbox, one of the most popular email clients for iOS, up to version 1.5.0. As I said, this update has brought the ability to open links in Chrome as well as Safari, which is a feature a lot of apps seem to have been adding recently. Also, if you were bugged at how it wouldn’t be able to search all your of Gmail account, fret not, this update brings the ability to do just that. Here is the iTunes change log:
What’s New in Version 1.5.0
- Cloud Search (now search every message in your Gmail account)
- Account-specific signatures
- Open links in Chrome
- Performance improvements and bug fixes
Alongside the usual performance and bug fixes, this update has also brought along account specific signatures. So if you are someone like myself who works from multiple email accounts, you can now set a specific signature for each account. This is a nice feature for people who use accounts for personal, business, etc. The update and app can be downloaded for free from the App Store here: Mailbox.
What do you think? Are you a Mailbox user? What features are you still waiting for? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
