It was expected that today would be a big day for iTunes. Earlier today, Apple released 11.0.5 to fix its issues with iTunes in the Cloud, and Apple has recently seeded its latest version of iTunes 11.1, beta 2, to its registered developers.
The release of beta 2 comes just over two weeks after beta 1 dropped, which included Apple’s highly anticipated iTunes Radio service, which is expected to be a Pandora competitor when it is released to the public this fall along with iTunes 11.1 and iOS 7.
Unfortunately, it is likely that this beta does not include any new major features. It is, instead, likely that beta 2 includes the same iTunes in the Cloud fix that came along with iOS 7 beta 6, and iTunes 11.0.5 from earlier today.
If you’re a registered developer through Apple, you can head on over to the Developer Center to download your version of iTunes 11.1 beta 2. If you update iTunes, be sure to add your comments below and let us know what you think of Apple’s latest version of its popular music service.
