Following yesterday’s rumor regarding Apple replacing the iPhone 5 with the iPhone 5C and keeping on the iPhone 4S, I decided to get feedback from our YouTube audience and you – our readers – on what you think of the speculation.
In short: Keeping on one device with a 30-pin connector and a 3.5-inch display makes very little sense. Developers would – I’m sure – love to only need to optimize apps for one size iPhone and iPod display. Accessory manufacturers could stop building 30-pin compatible accessories, and consumers would have less confusion over buying them. All in all, like I wrote a few weeks ago, it’s far more likely that Apple would get rid of the 4S and have the 5C as its lowest-spec, and lowest-cost iPhone.
