Affiliate Program

Today, Apple officially announced that its Affiliate Program will soon be changing and expanding as the Cupertino company has partnered with Performance Horizon Group in an effort to expand the program to other countries. This new change will affect members of the Affiliate Program in over 100 countries including the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and more. Users located in Europe and South America will continue to stay on Apple’s old program, and therefore will not have to update their accounts to continue using the Affilaite Program.

For those unfamiliar with the program, the Affiliate Program allows people to sign up through Apple to link to songs, apps, and other products for sale through Apple’s stores and users can earn commission from each sale made through their links. Applications are available for the Affiliate Program online here: iTunes Affiliate Program. For current members of the program, accounts must be updated by the first of October to switch to the new platform. Apple’s full announcement about the new program is available below.

Important Affiliate Program Changes

We’re introducing a new affiliate platform partner, PHG, which will support the Affiliate Program’s expansion to more countries and provide improved reporting tools. If you are currently participating in the Affiliate Program in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia, or New Zealand, you will now be supported by this new platform. To continue earning commissions without interruption, set up a new affiliate account and update all existing links by October 1, 2013. Join now or learn more.
