If you’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of the game Plants vs Zombies 2, you may have been disappointed to find out that the July 18 release date has been delayed. And while release date delays are always a bummer, it definitely seems like PopCap is doing everything it can to make sure the game is ready as soon as possible. One major step the company has taken is soft launching the game in Australia and New Zealand today in order to “test out all of the new systems and features.”
This is good for a couple of reasons. First, when the game finally launches it should be free of a majority of the bugs and issues that often plague software launches. Second, if you’re in Australia or New Zealand (or have an iTunes account associated with either of those places) you can get the game now!
