The popular iOS app, Path, has taken Apple’s classic “there’s an app for that” slogan and given it a bit of a twist. With the newly updated Path 3.1, it has been the goal of the Path developers to “give characters, faces, and icons to those day-to-day triumphs, annoyances, and logistics. Stuck in traffic? A promotion at work? In desperate need of caffeine? Feeling silly, lovestruck, or frazzled? There’s a sticker for that.”
According to the company’s official blog,
Now, any sticker, whether you buy a new pack or use an old one, can be used to quickly respond to your friends’ moments, to add color and depth to your commentary. Now, stickers can be part of the full story. We are excited to bring you stickers in comments, a new way to express yourself.
It’s not just stickers that got an overhaul, however. Path for iPad now features improved navigation in both landscape and profile views! Landscape view in particular underwent a pretty big change, and now features a “fully functioning composer button and feed, so you can share and view moments however you prefer. Plus, any conversations you’re having with friends are simply one tap away.”
Furthermore, it’s now super easy to find and add friends, or allow friends to add you. Each users is given his or her own QR code, so all you have to do is scan the code of your friend or let your friend scan your code and you’re done! And, to help you manage all of your new friends, the friends list has been refined!
You can check out Path 3.1 for iPhone, iPad, or Android in your respective App Store.
