Microsoft attacks multitasking on the iPad in new commercial

If you’ve seen any of the recent Microsoft vs. iPad commercials, you know that Microsoft is attempting to paint the iPad as a tablet that doesn’t have all the necessary features. For example, there have already been commercials from the Windows maker that claim that the iPad doesn’t have true multitasking. It looks as if Microsoft is trying to make that point even clearer, because it just released another new commercial that attacks multitasking on the iPad.

The new commercial specifically shows the ability of Windows 8 tablets have where a user can run apps side by side, a feature that is not available on Apple’s iPad. Be sure to check out the video embedded above.

Although I am personally an iPad user, I believe that these Windows 8 vs iPad commercials have done a good job showing consumers the features that Windows 8 tablets have and the iPad doesn’t. What do you think? Do you think these ads are effective? Drop a comment below and let us know what you think of the new commercial.

iPhones and iPads are made to be so simple your grandma could use them, and in the process they have neglected features that power users would love such as side by side multitasking. I may end up with a Windows tablet some day instead of my iPad because of the feature differences… I just need to wait for the Windows app store to catch up a bit.
