Facebook update brings checks for verified pages, more

Photo Jul 10, 4 41 44 PMIf you are someone who likes the “verified” feature found on Facebook, but were disappointed to find that it had not made its way over to the iOS version of the application, fear no more. Facebook for iOS has just been updated to version 6.3, and includes the ability to see blue check marks by verified page names. Also found in the update is improved info editing on iPad and some News Feed loading bugs have been fixed. Here is the full change log:

What’s New in Version 6.3

• Find verified celebrities, public figures and brands by looking for a blue check mark next to their names
• Improved places editing to fix categories, phone numbers and other info on iPad
• Fix for a problem that was causing News Feed to load slowly for some people

Other than that, there isn’t too much left to the update. If you don’t have the app, you can get it here: Facebook. If you already have it, head on over to the App Store to update.

What do you think? What features are you still awaiting? Does this fix any bugs you had? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
