When people (e.g. developers) started updating to iOS 7, an unfortunate bug was found in the popular Clear todo list application that made it not show the Lists in the Lists view. Clear posted a blog post when this issue was found saying that it would not support iOS 7 until its official release:
As pre-release software is subject to change, we do not support Clear on pre-release versions of iOS – this includes iOS 7 Betas 1, 2 and 3. We are aware of some display issues in iOS 7 Betas 1-3 which prevent lists from showing, and have discovered them to be issues that Apple needs to address in future iOS 7 betas.
So, while iOS 7 is not officially supported yet by the software, it is nice to see that the update to Clear does in fact fix the issue. However, in the change log, this issue is not explicitly mentioned. Here is the change log:
What’s New in Version 1.2.3
Clear 1.2.3: The “Small Tweaks and Fixes” Update
Just a couple of small tweaks today, folks, but stay tuned. The Clear team is hard at work!
• Sending tasks to Clear from other apps (e.g. Launch Center Pro) is back!
• A couple of other tweaks behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.
THANK YOU for making this all possible, and stay Clear! xx
As you can see, this was mostly just a maintenance and behind the scenes update, however for us on iOS 7, this update was essential. You can download Clear from here for $1.99: Clear for iOS.
What do you think? Are you a Clear user? Glad to see this update come? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
