Ashton Kutcher talks Jobs, social media, and venture capitalism in interview

A lot of you, by now, have heard the name Ashton Kutcher (if you hadn’t already before he took the role in Jobs). Many of us now know him as the person that will be portraying Steve Jobs in the upcoming film, Jobs. Set to come out on August 16th, Jobs includes Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs from before Apple started up until a few years before his passing. There have been many mixed reviews about the film from those that have been able to get an early look, including those that attended the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, so I am personally extremely interested in looking for it.

Kutcher is not only a techie when it comes to taking on the Jobs role, however. He also works as a venture capitalist, and is big into social media (particularly Twitter, with which he has had a “love-hate” relationship). During the interview, he talks with Josh Topolsky of The Verge about this other form of tech enthusiasm. The entire interview, which spans about 20-25 minutes, can be found in the above embedded video.

What do you think? Are you interested in seeing the Jobs movie? Think Ashton Kutcher will play a good Steve Jobs? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
