BBC iPlayer Radio app updated ready for extensive Glastonbury coverage

What’s better than going to watch live bands for days, camping in a tent and getting covered in mud every Summer during festival season? Staying in the comfort of your own home and watching or listening to the exact same coverage on TV or radio of course! And, just in time BBC has updated its iPlayer Radio app to include all the Glastonbury coverage, ensuring you don’t have to miss anything and you don’t have to get caked in mud, or wake up cold and wet every morning.

What’s New in Version 1.1.3

It’s summer festival time! This update adds access to the BBC’s extensive Glastonbury coverage, which will include live video streams throughout the event, as well as live performance video clips, photos, line up, artist information and more.

Glastonbury will be running from Wednesday, June 26th until Sunday June 30th. The app is available to update now, if you haven’t downloaded it at all yet, you can head on over to the App Store page and download it for free. (UK only).
