WWDC 2013 opening keynote address on June 10th confirmed

It may be pointing the obvious out ever so slightly, but, Apple has confirmed to AllThingsD that this year’s WWDC event at Moscone West, San Francisco will be kicking off with an opening keynote on June 10th. This would follow the pattern of previous years, and will likely include the unveiling of new products and services. While we’re not expecting any major new hardware, Apple is expected to show off the next versions of iOS and OS X. Tim Cook is likely to preside over the event with appearances onstage from the likes of Eddy Cue and Phil Schiller. If the last few years are anything to go by, the keynote will likely start at 10am Pacific Time/1pm Eastern and you can bet we’ll be covering it in great depth.
