Jailbreakers out there are probably aware of the MiniPlayer tweak, but just in case you aren’t, this cool little tweak adds an iTunes-like mini music player to your iOS device. Much like the original iTunes mini player, it can control play/pause, skipping back and forward, and volume. The little window can be easily hidden or revealed and can be called up over anything on your iPhone.
Today this tweak received an update that brings a bunch of great new features. You can now search your music library right in the MiniPlayer window without having to open your iPod, and the developers have also added a scrubber which lets you skip around the currently playing song.
If this sounds interesting to you, you can pick up MiniPlayer in Cydia (via the BigBoss repo) for $1.99.
