Berlin Apple Store draws large crowd for grand opening

If you remember yesterday when I talked about the Berlin Apple Store having its grand opening today, then you had to know this was coming. Yesterday we were shown some pictures of what the inside looked like and even of a few people waiting to get in, but today was the actual opening to the public, and there was a crowd. This store is the first to open in Berlin, and the 11th in Germany. There’s been a lot of hype surrounding this store, so it’s awesome to finally see it open. The first 4500 people in the doors were given special edition t-shirts greeted with the usual cheering and clapping. You can watch the video above to see one person’s view.

What do you think? Were you at the store today? Are you visiting soon? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.

It’s funny how $AAPL has supposedly lost its touch and is on a downward spiral when they can draw a crowd at an opening just by giving out limited edition T shirts that probably cost them $1 to make when Samsung has to put up huge broadway productions and spend enormous amounts of marketing budget just to mimic it.
