Figures from Netapplications released today show that Android’s share of Web Traffic is up 35% year on year.
Android devices now accounts for 26% of all mobile web traffic. Despite a 6.6% decrease in overall share, Apple’s iOS still accounts for 59% of mobile web usage. The figures are interesting because they don’t reflect the market share of these operating systems. In the smartphone market, Android now has a 64% share, yet despite this domination, iOS still has the lead in web traffic.
Why do you think iOS has a greater share of mobile web traffic? Leave your comments below.
