Twitter’s official Mac app has today been updated, finally bringing Retina display support.

Since its release in 2011, Twitter for Mac has gone for a long time without an update…

Twitter will now look absolutely fantastic on a Retina display, but there are also a couple more improvements. Improvements to photos now means that sharing photos is easier than ever before, and the app now supports 14 additional languages: Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish. There are also keyboard shortcuts, support for multiple accounts and timelines.

The app is available on the Mac App Store now!

My app still uses the hideous, large toolbar, is that design MacBook Pro with Retina Display specific?
