spacebarappA new app from a co-founder of Google.org, Gregory Miller, gives music lovers something a lot have always dreamed of – listening to concerts, live, from anywhere right on your iPhone. The application, named Spacebar, allows concerts to be broadcasted live, and listeners can pay to listen in on the concerts as they happen. The first 5 minutes are free, and you can listen to the rest for $0.99. Names such as Kanye West, Lady Gaga, and John Legend have all said that they will be broadcasting a show this year through Spacebar, so it looks like this could get some pretty big support. If some more big name artists will pick this up, this could become quite the popular piece of software. All that will depend on adoption though, so only time will be able to put this to the test. You can get the app here: Spacebar.

What do you think? Are you interested in trying this out? Hoping it becomes popular? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
