Operations VP at Apple, Jeff Williams, in China dealing with PR issues

Jeff-WilliamsApple and China have been in the news a lot recently. Apple has been sued in China over a Siri patent, China’s government has labeled Apple has “dishonest” , Apple has again been sued by a film studio in China, Tim Cook himself has apologized to China over warranty issues, and China has “approved” his apology. That’s all since the latter part of last month, within 20 days of today. Here we are again though with some more Apple/China news. Well, according to a Chinese news source, Jeff Williams, Operations VP at Apple, is over there now trying to ease the tensions. Obviously with his title, it’s assumed by many that he will be checking on Apple’s multiple sites of operation in the country. Maybe tensions will be eased through this visit, as Apple hopes to grow in China, not be forced out.

What do you think? Wonder where this will go? Have you been watching the Apple/China news? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
