If you slip through, you will see that LinkedIn, the social network that revolves around business connections, has bought the news-reading application “Pulse.” There aren’t any numbers on what the acquisition consists of (reports are saying around $90 million), however the post over on the LinkedIn blog includes an anecdote on how he, Deep Nishar, SVP of Products & User Experience at LinkedIn, met Ankit Gupta, co-founder of Pulse, at a competition in India that Ankit ending up winning.
