iPhone 6 concept video imagines thinner device with capacitive home button [Video]

At first glance the above video is just sort of a fake iPhone 6 commercial using the iPhone 5, however upon a watching further you see it actually is a concept video of what the iPhone 5S/6 could be, if rumors always came true that is. It shows a slimmer profile with a capacitive home button (actually it says the entire bottom is capacitive). You can simply tap anywhere under the screen and be taken back home. This feature has been rumored for quite a while now. I’m not sure I would like that, as I feel like I’d accidentally active it too much. But that’s just me, to each his/her own. It also goes on to show a 12MP camera dubbed “iSight Pro.” I wouldn’t be too surprised to see that one, but I’m not sure Apple only wants more megapixels.

What do you think? Do you like the idea? Anything you’d do different? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.

It sounded like the bottom wasn’t capacitive touch, rather it was just like Apples trackpads and the whole bottom portion of the iPhone would just “Click” to go home

I hope they keep the physical home button.  I like being able to wake my phone up with it.

I’ve used phones without physical button, and it gets frustrating.  I want to be able to feel where it is without having to look at it.
