iCloud tops US consumer cloud services chart, along with Dropbox and Amazon Cloud Drive

icloudStrategy Analytics has recently published its findings from a recent survey on US consumer cloud services, and found that iCloud has topped the chart in terms of users. This means that Apple’s storage solution has beaten the likes of Amazon Cloud Drive and Dropbox.

According to the survey, which contained 2,300 American candidates, iCloud was the most commonly used cloud service, with 27% of those polled using it. Dropbox came second, at 17%, and Amazon Cloud Drive third with 15% of participants having used it. Most of the candidates in the survey were between the ages of 20 and 24, showing that the technology has a mainly young following, at least, among those surveyed. Interestingly, iCloud was the only service to have more females than males using it.

Personally, I’m not the biggest user of cloud services, mainly because of lack of necessity, but what about you? How often do you use cloud storage, and which service is your favorite? Let us know in the comments.
