Nothing good ever comes out of a company using Twitter. We hear stories all the time of dozy operators forgetting they’re using a company Twitter account rather than their own, and tweeting, retweeting or favoriting something stupid. The most recent case of this is with Apple’s iBookstore account, where a rather explicit tweet, pictured above, was both retweeted and favorited.

Of course, Apple was on the mistake quick as a flash, but that didn’t stop people seeing it, and it caused mild uproar among the geekier of the Twitter community.
