Twitter’s brand new video sharing app, Vine caused something of a buzz among iPhone users when it was launched last month. Obviously, it didn’t take long for questionable mature content to find its way on to the platform. One particular video with pornographic content somehow made it to the top of the Editor’s choice list. Following that, Apple stopped featuring it as a noteworthy app and Vine apologized.
Thankfully, the app has been updated. It now contains a new 17+ age warning and a couple of new features and bug fixes:
What’s New in Version 1.0.5
• Share to Twitter or Facebook after posting. Find the post you want to share, then tap the “…” button in the bottom right.
• Report or block a profile. Go to the profile, then tap the newly added “…” button in the top right.
• Fixed an issue that caused a black screen to appear and uploads to fail after creating a video on certain devices
• Miscellaneous bug fixes
If you’re yet to download Vine and try it out, you can do so for free here. For those with the app already, just check your App Store for updates and you’ll find it in there.
