iPad saves UPC clinic from spending $8,000 on a single machine

The iPad has done wonders for various industries, ranging from medical, to education, and everything in between. Well, speaking on the topic of medical, the iPad has saved one place a lot of money. How so? Well, when this particular UPC clinic was given $40,000 from a state grant, and instead of having to spend $8,000 of it on a single device, it was able to buy 6 iPads and more. What it saved it from buying was a DynaVox, or as the site describes it, “an over sized tablet that allows users to press corresponding letters and images to speak words and phrases.” Sounds like something the iPad could perfectly replace, and it did. This shows how Apple has done a great job at introducing a product that can truly help in any industry.

What do you think? Glad to see the iPad help out? Do you use iPads at your place of work? Let us know in the comments, or tweet me @TiP_Kyle.
